Saigon Deli: Authentic Vietnamese Delights in Tampa

Upon visiting this restaurant, you will feel as though you have entered Vietnam, where authentic Vietnamese cuisine is served. I regularly dine here several times a month. The vermicelli noodle salad is one of my favorite dishes, while my husband's preference is beef pho. There is no doubt regarding the taste, as they prepare and serve the dishes promptly. I am fond of this establishment!

Prompt service and great authentic viet food. The pho met expectations and the grilled pork banh mi was spectacular. Flavorful and tender. It likely can get quite crowded as I stopped by around 3pm on a weekday and almost could not get a seat.

Saigon Deli is the best Vietnamese restaurant in America. Here food is always fresh and made with love and service is generous. After 5 years of my last visit I keep seeing the same faces running the restaurant. This family business is one of the best jewels in Tampa bay. They deserve 6 stars for quality food.

Quick n delicious! Picked up some lunch the other day! Freshly and tastefully made dishes.. The kind & friendly person at the counter suggested the stir fried shrimp and it was absolutely delicious !! It was soup-ier than what I usually expect from a stir fried dish, but it was awesome!! The shrimp were cooked just perfect, not too hard! The grilled pork banh-mi was delicious, although we got a couple of very chewy pieces of pork. The deli was busy well past lunch. Most of the tables occupied and a constant flow of people walking in n out to pick up food (door dash or others). The counter has a lot of interesting snacks displayed for sale like different types of jerky. We enjoyed the food and will be back for more!

Very quick service, big portion sizes and wonderful flavors on everything we got. Loved the pork vermicelli and banh mi.

I am always on a hunt for delicious Asian food. A friend recommended a Filipino resto but I thought I can cook my own delicious Filo food at home so maybe next time. So I googled and found it was only 7 mins from where I had an appointment. This place was also recommended by the same friend and told me it was 1 of their fave spots to go & they bring a lot of their out of town friends here. It was almost 1pm when I arrived & there are people already eating outside. I ordered thru DoorDash for pick up & when I came in my order was almost ready maybe was missing only 1 item. I loved that they secured my boba milk tea and placed it in another container to avoid accident spills. The food tasted sooo goooood!!! Eating their Banh Bao reminded me of my favorite Siopao back in my home country/city which I have missed so much. Their egg rolls are really delicious, too--i prefer to dip with my favorite UFC banana catsup & it was perfect. I still have to taste the rest of my order because I ordered a lot of food since it was almost an hour drive from my home. But I'm sure they all taste great. This is from now on my go-to for best Vietnamese food! And as an Asian, I will always need my umami so I saved this as 1 of my favorite places to go.

I came in with a friend of mine, and they told me about how great this place was. We ordered the beef pho, and it was very amazing, especially on a cold day. The place was a little old, but that didn’t take away how good the food was. Definitely recommend for everyone!

Probably one of the best banh mi sandwiches in the city and pork & chicken fried rice is top tier. Some of the best I've had in the city as well. Service was good and food came out quick.
